Guardian/adjacent:
I don't know what the original dialog is from and it's incredibly ooc but I love this.
Zhubai teaching each other how to say their names with their hometown intonations.
This Richard Silken quote is so Weilan it hurts.
This gif looks like a telenovela.
Fanart: Old Haixing. Bridal style.
Untamed/adjacent:
Dart art.
The part(s) of my brain I used to use for fun/creativity have succumbed to the fatigue of Just Living Through This Already. Which is annoying and depressing since writing was my best way of psychological escape. (Nooo I was using that, damn it!!!) I want (need!) to do something, but I can literally feel the gears slipping when I try to engage them. It's unpleasant and disconcerting and I do not like it at all. Thank dogs I already finished Deconstruction. Perhaps when I get it back from beta going through revisions will jump start something.

I remember seeing a vid of someone shovelling snow to make a portrait of Wang Yibo. Wish I'd kept the link. Also, it was a while back, but I think there was a very patient individual creating a portrait of WangXian by flipping dominos? So cool that they film the process of these works and share it. :)
I love these kinds of kinetic, temporary art styles. So skillfully done, and creative too!

That feeling of brain-gears not doing the thing is the WORST. Ugh!! I wish I knew what to do to fix it. ...oh, have you thought of having a go at podficcing? I know you don't listen to it yourself, but we were talking about how other people do enjoy it. It engages a completely different set of gears, and you get to be fannish and put something useful into the world. I have had some success fighting the slipping brain gears by just going into a completely different form of creativity. But you know yourself best, and it's possible they're all interconnected anyway...

Also people who make art like the dart art or the painted bowls are witches imo and should be feared and venerated.

now you've made me want to go back and watch the livestream that comes from all over again. Is there such a thing as a dialect kink? Because I might have one.
I hope your brain-gears will get into shape soon and painlessly. Silly idea of the day, in keeping with the above: maybe try writing little tiny fics in Spanish, just for fun? For me using a different language tends to use different brain parts somehow. Ignore if not relevant, *hugs* in any case.
