I was shopping for new masks on Redbubble and this one made me snort.

I want a Guardian/Weilan mask that doesn't have representational art. I like the Stygian Lure one but I'm not fannish enough about The Untamed to wear it. One that says "Worth It" or something.

This week was really hard, y'all. Who wants a card?

Hee! Thanks for linking. Also, omg I did not realise latxcvi was also into this fandom! Knowing so many old fandom folks are still around and also into the same silliness as me, I am soooo tempted to start actually using twitter now...

I'm getting more and more comfortable with Twitter these days. Still not what I'd call good at it, but I'm not as awkward as I used to be. I can't speak to The Untamed fandom (it's so much larger) but the Guardian folks there are very fun and friendly.

I'm super shy using other platforms besides DW, so I'd probably start using twitter mainly to reconnect with familiar faces, especially if the content is on the lighter, more fannish side.

Of course, I don't mind the heavier stuff, but I think I get enough of it from other sources. I need a certain percentage of my daily online time to be of the more creative, enjoyable kind of thing - which is why I've sort of narrowed my fandom experience down to just Dreamwidth. *g* I have a good balance here, and luckily it's interspersed with other people's individual recs to fannish content on twitter/tumblr. So thank so much for the effort you put in to share all of this. :)

Not going to be greedy and ask for another card -- just taking this opportunity to tell you again how much I <3 the card you made for me. I continue to have it on display in my kitchen -- the room of my house where I spend the most exhausting of my housework hours and where your card provides me with regular doses of happiness.

Zhu Yilong is notorious for losing a ridiculous amount of weight for roles. I think I saw somewhere he's down to 140lbs? Ugh, HONEY NO.

ZYL, please a) eat something and b) consider growing your hair out ;) . (I'm still in the middle of the Lost Tomb thing, and his cheekbones are actually painful to watch, in the senses both of "literally so pretty it hurts" and "oh honey, that can't be healthy.")

I'd always be glad for another card if international sending is not a problem right now, no worries if it is (given your pretty handwriting a quotation or something on a blank card would be as nice as a picture postcard, but I don't know what is more labor intensive). Will send you some more too (flowers or prewar architecture or something) unless you'd prefer not.

International postage is not a problem at all since glymr graciously gifted me with a whole 2 sheets of international forever stamps! ❤❤❤

This is going to be so fun and lovely! I think I'm gonna ask others if they'd like me to do the same thing... making an art card where a quote is the focus will, I think, be a lot less taxing than an image-focused one.

Oh yeah, z1l, please eat something now. I think the whole fandom collectively took a breath in relief when he announced the end of Rebel filming. *phew* Not that I expect he'll become much more careful with his health overall. But one thing at a time. <3
