Not that time really matters to me anymore, but I'm not sad to see the tail end of this week, I can tell you that. Thank dogs for tea. My current favorite is Harney & Sons Paris (decaf because my life is ashes) with their Chocolate (also decaf, sigh) running a close second. My all-time favorite black tea is Yorkshire Gold which I haven't had for ages because I have to limit my caffeine so I don't even keep it in the house or I'll be tempted too often and they don't make a decaf version.

Anyone else have fave teas to recommend?

This isn't exactly "tea", but our household loves Drink Me Chai. My neighbour, visiting from the UK, brought us some as a gift, and I've been ordering it online and having it posted to me in the mail ever since. LOL.

Its small, cylindrical shape fits exactly in the magazine roll portion of our home mailbox, so it cracks me up that sometimes when I open the door to get the mail in the morning, I pull out a handful of bills, but also my chai mix. *g*

There's a sugar-free, dairy-free version that my mom and I can both use. :)

I am crying with you!!!

I'm clicking around and just realised all of a sudden this product seems to have stopped being stocked?? Or is unavailable??? And yet, it's still featured on the company website, so I am holding out hope that maybe they are having some manufacturing issues because of the pandemic or something, and this halt is all just temporary.

Found one online:
https://www.premcrest.co.uk/drink-me-chai-free-from-chai-latte-200g-x6

I probably couldn't afford the shipping rates, but at least it's good to know that there's somewhere where it's listed as available.

Republic of Tea roasted dandelion root with vanilla. Herbal. They describe it as a good alternative to coffee, and it's true. A nice rich flavor with a touch of sweetness.

I've been enjoying trying the various Harney & Sons decaf and herbal blends! Unfortunately, a lot of their herbal blends use rooibos as a base, which I have yet to learn to like. So far their decaf blacks have been quite good, though! I liked the Decaf Hot Cinnamon and I liked their Decaf Vanilla. I'm looking forward to trying their Decaf Chocolate when it comes back in stock.

My husband likes the Yorkshire Gold, too! He told me that their Yorkshire Tea Decaf was an acceptable substitute (I grabbed the pic from Amazon because it's easy and I'm lazy, lol):

No exciting new teas from me; my winter hot-tea standby is the Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger (lately hard to find, I will not accept these non-equivalents like Ginger Lemon Whatsit and Red Zinger, not the same at all). For iced tea I drink oceans of oolong all year, and also corn tea or the milder cornsilk tea when I can get it (easy to find when I was in Korea, less so everywhere else).

Heh, I looked at the teabags we have at home and there IS NO BRAND NAME. Some googling suggested these (I can't reliably vouch for any of them, but they look right):
Corn tea in teabags:

(I like its promise that "then you can taste good)

The standard cornsilk tea in bottles (very mild):

Teas

I like to make my own "teas" (tisanes, really), by blending freshly grated ginger with some lemon and honey, possibly with a few other additions (dried fruit peels like apple or peach); good for upset tummies or if you are feeling poorly. As for Pre-packaged tea, I enjoy a "London Fog" tea latte using decaf Earl Grey (Twinings or Bigelow), nondairy milk, lavender buds (steeped in a tea ball), a few drops of vanilla, and sweetened to taste with dehydrated sugar cane crystals or other "natural" sweetener. Decaf "Constant Comment" is very nice if you can get it (Bigelow tea company). Chai is nice too (I use Martha Stewart's recipe, which is online, using whole spices purchased from my local Indian market, but recipe variations abound). Turmeric "golden milk" is good for what ails you, too, as is sage tea (but I'm weird that way -- sage and honey). Chocolate-Rooibois is yum but Rooibois is a stimulant, so be aware of that. Enjoy. :)

Hee, good kiss manip. Now I want the hi res version of it! :D

Sadly, I get a headache from (the caffeine in) black tea, and actually never bothered with decaf versions, so I don't drink tea anymore. I completely switched to herbal teas twenty years ago. My faves are yogi tea chai and roibush tea with ginger. Not sure those are the kinds of tea you were looking for?
