Smoking kink!
ZYL's camera roll.
Fanart: Gorgeous lineart.
The studio is completely unpacked, although hardly organized. But after two weeks there's no visible cardboard in the place and it feels good.
I did a lot yesterday and it felt really really good, but that means I gotta take it easy today or I'll pay for it the rest of the week. In addition to unpacking, I worked a bit in the kitchen including dumping two chicken carcasses in the crockpot for broth and roasting peppers. I'll strain the broth tonight but that'll be pretty much the only thing I do other than sit on the couch today.
Oh, I got about 600 words of the Deconstruction missing (porn) scene down yesterday, too! My first new writing in... I'm not exactly sure, but at least six weeks. Probably (very probably) more.
My appetite is returning a bit, as well. Which is good because yay, improvement! but bad in that I probably should not be going to the grocery store for a while and I've become highly reliant on those plastic bins of Spring Mix for my vegetable intake. I shoulda picked up some carrots and cabbage at the store. Maybe I'll try hitting it really early on Friday morning before most people are out. I'm not going anywhere near a grocery store the week of Thanksgiving.
Tonight is episode four of Sleuth!

And so glad your appetite is returning. It sounds like you make delicious food, so I'm glad you'll get to enjoy that again.
YAY SLEUTH!

We get a lot of stuff done via delivery or pickup. Groceries, meats, dairy, etc etc. I'm hoping you have an option available to you...

INDEED THEY ARE!
Alas, the only groceries I need are eggs and fresh produce and (this makes me sound like such a snob but I guess if it quacks like a duck...) I don't trust strangers to pick my produce? At least I brought enough non-perishables from the house on Indiana to last me into the new year!

Yay! And also yay for taking it easy!

Very good to hear.
Also amused that your baseline amount of cooking (making broth, etc.) is the stuff I skip because I'm too lazy as a cook; hopefully you'll get a virtuous circle (delicious circle?) of good food, good appetite, more energy?

Please don't overestimate my broth-making. It's literally throw two chicken carcasses in the crockpot, cover with water, simmer for 24 hours, and strain. Similarly the peppers: Cut in half, de-seed, place in 500F oven for 30-40 minutes, turning at least once until skins are blackened. Remove from oven and cover with towel until cool. Slip off skins and refrigerate. There's probably like 30 minutes of actual labor involved for both combined. 😄

Also, is there any way to place an order at the grocery store and then have them hold it for curbside pickup? Because you should do that.

So far the only thing that's made me go hmmmmm is the casual use of torture to glean information/confessions (by the protagonists). Oh, and the very oddly colored stage blood. The blood in Guardian was more believable. 😄 And even though there aren't any women in main roles (yet? idk) the side ladies are all pretty good so far. I especially like the teenager that brings Tang Fan his lunches.
Re: groceries, the only stuff I really need to go out for are eggs and produce and... I don't trust strangers to pick my produce? I'm just VERY picky about my fresh vegetables. I'm set for meat and non-perishables until the new year. Otherwise sure, I'd be doing that.

I hope you enjoy! By and large the fics in the tiny fandom are good!

Oh, neat!
I love mysteries, but the appeal for me has never been the mystery itself. I watch for the competency of those solving it so hurray!
