Yup.

As I sat reading my LJ friends' weekend updates, I realized something. I spent nearly the entire weekend devoted to some sort of self-indulgence. And that's not out of the ordinary for me. I'm so spoiled. And I don't feel bad about that at all.

It certainly isn't a verb that comes up in everyday language, however. Perhaps it should be.

I dunno; I've used it quite frequently, myself, especially in conversation. Now that I think of it, I don't believe I've ever typed it, though. Huh.

Debauch is one of those words that just sounds like Bad Things are going to happen. :)

Hedonism, on the other hand, sounds like we're waiting for Kant to write a book. It's much too clinical-sounding. I've always had to think for a minute to remember the actual definition.
