2Luo fanart. Weilan family portrait. Z1L and the duality of man. I get hit with stuff like this and wonder how I haven't yet perished from celibacy.
Not related to Guardian at all, but I'm so thrilled to see someone else use the phrase "cumgutter" I had to share it.
If you're looking for wlw fluff, this is short and very sweet.
How to keep the Excessive Tag Nightmare off your AO3. Same info in naye's DW post.
Saturday I was still wiped out from Friday's funk but thought of something I wanted to include in my current PWP (the shotgunning one, which now has the best/worst title I've ever come up with). Wrote 109 words on it and had to lie down. That's not an exaggeration. I had to actually lie down. Like, in bed. For not fun reasons. Yesterday I was back at rock bottom and spent another day in my pajamas, numb on the couch watching movies (in English bc no energy for subs). Started to feel a little better in the early evening, just enough to remind myself of the reality that This Too Shall Pass. I'm feeling a little better today, but ugh.
I highly recommend His House (on Netflix) if you're looking for some good horror. Social commentary + intimate ghost story + character development with actual catharsis. Not horror but definitely horrific: I Care a Lot. I'm generally not a fan of things where the entire main cast of characters are all absolutely terrible people, but the preview looked amazing so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did, because I enjoyed it very much. Casually gay as fuck, and so many women! Like, women everywhere. Doctors, shop keepers, business people. Incredible, and even more so by their presence (as well as the main character's sexuality) being absolutely unremarked-upon. They're just... there. That said, it's not a film about redemption or hope or anything like that. There are no winners in this story and it made me a little nervous about my own increasing age (being a person who will likely fall into the demographic the protagonist is targeting).
Okay, well, I can feel my brain turning to mush just from making this post. Blah. Thinking about Doing Other Things after this is making my body start pumping out the bad chemicals so I'm gonna wrap this up and head back to Netflix.

I keep seeing recs for that "I care a lot". I might give it a try.

I wish I had the energy to try watching the Yin-Yang Master but I want to watch it with subs the first time. I might just keep going with Schitt's Creek unless I stumble across something else.

(I wish I had recs but I just watched a bunch of true crime stuff when I wasn't feeling up to subs myself.)

Z1L and the duality of man.
I really want to know what the inside of his head looks like. (I mean, I am also very happy looking at the outside of his head, cf the other image, but you get the idea.)

I kind of don't wanna know because I like my personal opinion/hope that he's a himbo. ๐

Oh, no luck on ghost story/haunted house movies from my friend, she tends to like the ones with demons and such and only had those to recommend. I will say, if you haven't seen The Woman in Black it scared the pants off me and is a ghost story.
I have never had any urge to write a fic, I saw the Bland Times Wangxian thing and suddenly I'm inspired to write the most boring minutiae I can think of. Why? Who the hell knows.

I have a couple friends who are writing different Bland Times fics! You should definitely join in.
