Yup. Still snowing. The sky is an unbroken pane of smudgy whiteness that's just-this-side-of-gray. Sorry, I won't pretend to enjoy it. You winter weather loving people, feel free to revel, but don't expect me to join in. I just don't like it. Winter and avocadoes. No matter how you dress them or talk them up, they hold no appeal for me. I painted my nails a charming pink to match the annoyingly soft and pretty angora sweater (currently shedding all over creation) and I'm feeling a little better.

This week I plan to get the ingredients for cocoa and chex mix. If you want to be included in the distribution of either, please let me know by, say, Friday noon. I'll buy in the quantity indicated and then I'll tally the totals for each. On Monday, I'll let people know how much it cost for a gallon ziplock bag. I estimate $15/bag for cocoa and probably $8 for the chex mix.

stuology, if you want to arrange for a Girl Scout cookie/Cocoa trade, let me know. I could use a few boxes of thin mints.

I love avocadoes, but I'm right there with you when it comes to winter. I would never miss it if I lived somewhere that didn't have it. Snow can be pretty, but that's why Gawd gave us photography, television and the internet.

Yup, I want some cocoa! I'll be happy to compensate via a couple boxes of thin mints and cash. The thin mints don't arrive until the beginning of January, though.

I'd also be happy to eat any avocados that are forced your way.

My "Roe-hair" sweater shed horribly as well. It was really soft and pretty, but I was tired of inhaling it up my nose, so I wear it no longer.

Chex Mix! A woman after my own heart :). I love chex mix and thought I was going to have to limit myself on this low-carb diet but I have seen a recipie for making it with olive oil instead of margarine and using more of the higher fiber cereals. I am definately giving it a try!

And despite having to carpool w/ DH to work today so he could help me to the door (and back out tonight) through the slick spots, I think this is a pretty snow :) :) :).

But I can't picture you in pink nail polish, no way, not at all!
