Sleuth fic request

I couldn't figure out how to phrase this question that doesn't massively spoil something in Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty so I'm asking here instead of Twitter (where I'd probably get a larger response).

Is there a canon-compliant fic that deeply investigates Wang Zhi and Ding Rong's post-canon journey to reconciliation/recovery (or failure to do so)? Gen, shippy, idc, I just need catharsis that doesn't gloss over what it would take to get over that sort of betrayal (or not!).

Honestly, Wang Zhi's surprise shipping off to the ass-end of nowhere military post crushed me to the point that I honestly have a hard time enjoying the show in retrospect. (This is why I beg for spoilers! When I say spoil me, I mean it!) I feel like a fic that realistically and honestly deals with their journey post-canon would help with that. Someone please tell me it exists and where to find it.

Help me. I'm desperate and not up to writing this myself.

Oooooo I hope you find it. I definitely ended the series with mental pictures speculating how that would go. (There was some physical discipline/penance) and some crying on his knees. But I didn't get into the plotty thinking about how he would accomplish something interesting and useful in his remote post and how to make the path to forgiveness and reconcilation go in parallel.

Or how in the next episode Tang Fan and Sui Zhou end up collaborating with him.

It was clearly going to be fascinating and I wanted more episodes, but way too delicate for my brain to put together.

Ooh you know I think there is. I don't know how deeply it goes but post-canon these two are the only ones I'm interested in and I'm pretty sure someone sent me some recs. I'll dig around and get back to you

I haven't read it yet but this might be what you need.
