I need more furniture like I need another hole in my head
But I can't help it. I'm in love with this chair. Look at those lines! Those curves! That black leather! Sigh. Simper.
I got nearly everything done this weekend with the exception of eBay stuff. I want to get my things listed in time for holiday buying. My life needs to slow the hell down. I'm going to have to start saying no to outings, I'm afraid. There are some things I must get done, like sewing for xmas and holiday stuff, organizing and settling in, etc. I can't be going out every single night anymore. Unfortunately, I'm already committed through the17th. 18th. 19th. Cripes.
I made the cocoa and chex mix. Bad news on the cocoa: I wasn't thinking clearly and I didn't get enough of one of the ingredients. So you're all getting 1/2 bags of cocoa. Sorry. I'll be going back to Sam's next month, so if you want more, I can make a second batch then. Email to let me know if you want a second batch. Nine cups of mix should get you through December, though. I was amazingly accurate on the totals. A half bag of cocoa came to $5, and the chex mix came to $5 per batch as well.
starstraf, I brought yours up to campus with me. I can bring them down today if you like.
Sellout Saturday night was a fabulous time, as always. But damn it got crowded fast. I'm very much looking forward to January 22, when they'll be at Liberty Hall. Mark your calendars, folks. I loved seeing so many grad students out dancing. Tons of fun. I love their surprise at seeing me in Party Girl mode for the first time. It was also wonderful to be able to dance and flirt with Chris and Kij and not care about outing ourselves. And vain girly moment here: Damn I love the stripey socks with my Double-H boots. I think that combo (with the flippy skirt) is going to be my standard dancewear for the foreseeable future. Cute and comfortable. Gonna have to drop some serious money at Sock Dreams to keep the look fresh.
It's Monday and I'm ready for another weekend already.

I also find your look from Sellout highly acceptable.
I also find Kij's look highly acceptable.
Also seeing the two of you dance. And either of you individually. And... and I should get out of LJ and get some work done.
Understatements R Us,

I'm granting myself a half hour of LJ every coupla hours.
Small doses are working for me than cold turkey.
Must be an addiction, undt that's accurate, sad, and funny.

Mmmmm, the stripes helped highlight good foot and leg work on the floor. Great look, it was!
Your wicked-wicked sidekicks, Chris and Kij, were also looking mi-tee-fine.
I'm putting Jan 22 on my calendar!
More dancing, More Dancing!
I'd like in on the cocoa on the second round, please.
