No snippet because zero writing happened this week. Very discouraging after making such good progress last week. Yes I know there's no medals for accomplishment or whatever, but reassurances that ~it's okay~ doesn't make me happy about not being able to write. I'm having a difficult time figuring things out on a scene-to-scene level. Once I've got a scene in mind I can crank it out no problem. The actual plotting, however, is not going well.

I get so mad at having writing flow one week and then nothing next. Why can't writing just keep happening? WHY?

I know you asked this in jest, but honestly I think it's the US's disdain for advertising. Unless you're representing something like expensive watches or high-end designer brands, it's considered gauche. Actors working in ads are the lowest on the entertainment food chain here while the stars make bank shilling things overseas. I have a lot of thoughts on the Western indulge/denial regarding marketing and capitalism. 🙄

Once I've got a scene in mind I can crank it out no problem. The actual plotting, however, is not going well.
ugh I feel you (revising at the speed of a half-asleep snail around here because I can't figure out how to tweak the plot just right). Hope something will click.

Having now been stuck on writing literally ONE SCENE for several days, I sympathise. The dialogue just doesn't want to happen >.<
