Why yes, I think about this a lot. More Long-ge pushups. I don't usually like round or clear plastic frames on me but I want these glasses real hard. His EYES tho! God he looks good in this show.

I'm still reeling/floating a bit from the job news. I woke up in the wee hours this morning, did not get an adrenaline rush of anxiety, and was able to fall back asleep. It was wonderful.

One thing I've gotta get on the stick about is some new clothes. I don't want to dress like I work in an office, but I want something a little more...expensive? grown-up looking? than my vast collection of knits. What I really want is to find a seller with stuff similar to this person on Etsy that doesn't charge ~$15 per item to ship to the US. My faves from her are this, this, this, and this. If anyone happens to see a website selling that style, please send it my way? I'll probably order these from her if I can't find anything because I really like those styles, I just.... don't like getting hit with high shipping fees on the very last step of the ordering process. I get cranky.

Oh right and I gotta schedule an oil change. And maybe a haircut? Still trying to decide if my hair's actually damaged enough to need it. I wanna keep as much of the pandemic length as I can.

I got to feed someone this morning! One of my close locals called me in near tears at 7am this morning. She works from home and her internet was out and before she could say anything else I was like "Come over. Come over right now." So I got to make her noodle soup for breakfast and now she's set up across from me in my living room and it's very nice.

$15 per item seems ridiculous, particularly given it is light weight. Is she amenable to bundle things together or is it not kosher to ask?

So lucky to live somewhere that we're both been vaccinated and that was possible!

I think the shipping cost is built in to pad the cost of the garments. Which, like, on one hand I get. She's shipping from Vietnam, and her items look well worth the cost. She probably sells more at those prices with the surprise shipping. It's just one of my pet peeves when it comes to online shopping.

Those outfits are so cool I might be convinced to wear a dress again one day. As for the hair -- I went the opposite direction and got it all whacked off, shorter than I've ever had it (pixie cut!) in a highly symbolic "begone pandemic!" gesture. But your hair is awesome the way it is. :)

I wear dresses/skirts pretty much exclusively with either leggings or bloomers underneath and it's the best of all worlds, imo.

Have you asked the seller if she will give you a discount if you buy multiple items? AFAIK, Etsy is set up to charge the fee automatically, but if the seller knows that it's the difference between you purchasing multiple garments and not purchasing at all, they might be willing to give you a break. If you don't want to talk about the shipping cost specifically, it doesn't hurt to ask for a flat discount on a multiple item purchase. The worst she can say is 'no'. :)

Those designs are lovely, but yeah, way outside of my colors--I haven't worn anything except neutrals (specifically black, gray, brown, and olive green) in years. 😄 This overblouse is GORGEOUS tho.

That would be EXCELLENT. The only ones I've found online are way too big. You know how small my face is, and normal adult-sized round frames do nothing for me. The little ones though I think could look good. Especially those clear plastic frames.

I saw those, aren't they darling??? I need to try on a pair of kid frames (which those are) in a shop, so I can tell for sure that the temples actually go over my ears.

The length of the earpieces are 138mm, which is a small womens' size.
They are listed in the women's eyeglasses, soooo.... :)

I also looked at the pix of them on various people in the reviews, so cute!
I also realized by looking at J's glasses from an angle that the clear frames do pick up the color of the face, so maybe those aren't beige after all.
