Mobile carriers

I don't think I've ever done something like this buuuuuut I happily use Mint Mobile (Ryan Reynolds's company) and through January 7 they're offering a $100 kickback if I convince a friend to transfer their number from Verizon or AT&T. Mint uses T-Mobile lines in my part of the U.S. and I get 4 gigs of data and unlimited talk/text for $15/month (I paid for a full year to get that price). So if you've been thinking about switching mobile providers let me know and I'll send you details.

I have very much been considering Mint, but didn't know anyone who used them. Are you happy with their service thus far? (Obviously you're promo-ing, so I assume yes?)

Sure, may as well! I don't know that I'll do anything about it right now since I'm still taking advantage of being on ye olde family plan, but that may change in the future. I hope.

https://www.reddit.com/r/mintmobile/ has been helpful when I had that issue.
The first suggestion from u/MintMobileAlex was to turn of WiFi calling.

Another suggestion I found was to disconnect WiFi itself and attempt login/reset on mobile data.
