Thursday
Gonna try to post more often here, just to feel like I have some sort of tangible connection to other people as well as the passage of time.
I hate acknowledging no writing will happen today because I need/want the energy to hang out with a friend later. I'm a little worried about scheduling myself for an afternoon in-person chat (and possible walk around downtown) on the same day as a regularly-scheduled noon Zoom call. A body's gotta work with other people's availability, though. sigh
Made this morning's tea half caffeinated because I still haven't quite recovered from last Thursday's errands and I need the boost. Here's hoping the adrenal stimulation doesn't make me crash too hard.
Tomorrow I need to cook the ground beef a friend kindly gave me, so likely no writing tomorrow either.
Also, just to document: I can no longer hold a large mug of tea while doing something else (like reading on the couch). The weight makes my hand and wrist ache so I have to put it down between sips (and use both hands to hold it when I'm actively drinking). I used to have such strong hands that a friend of mine who set a world record for dead lift in his weight class said I was the only person who'd ever gotten the knots out of his shoulders. sigh
Too much sighing! Too much!
Not sure how many musical theater enthusiasts follow me here, but yesterday I finally watched tick, tick... BOOM! and liked it. I hadn't bothered watching sooner because I'm not a fan of the musical RENT (Larson was fond of capital letters, wasn't he?) and figured why bother. But I read a review that basically said "if you're a musical theater nerd you'll like it" and I did! Andrew Garfield's performance almost makes me want to watch his Spider-Man movies. Almost.
Today's dump on cm.net.
eta: I was just reminded that I'm getting my booster shot tomorrow morning so looks like that ground beef is getting cooked today
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And thank you! I hope I have the energy to walk around downtown with her. Porch chats are fine, but I love my downtown.

I keep meaning to see that! I have a soft spot for Rent, although I was never hugely into it. And I only know Andrew Garfield from his Spider-Man stint, but I quite liked him. (He was no Tom Holland, but that's what we have Tom Holland for!)
Yay booster shot tomorrow! I hope it doesn't hit you too hard, though.
