December meme: 5 Old Country Songs
Requested by resonant, old country songs.
I'm linking to YouTube since embeds aren't showing up for me on DW and idk if other people are having that problem. In no particular order:
Charline Arthur - Flash Your Diamonds (1954)
Buck Owens - Tiger by the Tail (1964)
Lefty Frizzell - No One To Talk To (But The Blues) (1957)
Billy Swan - I Can Help (1974)
Patsy Cline - Crazy (1961)
"Crazy" was a little bit of a cheat because everybody knows that song but damn I love it. If I was ever forced at gunpoint to sing a song at karaoke (the only way I'd ever do it) that's the one I'd choose.
