When I'm writing a sex scene, I often look up sex tips for that particular act to see if there's a method or trick I want to include. So now my second search autofill for the letters "gu" (second to "guardian chinese drama" which I frequently search to copypasta the characters for Tumblr tagging) is "tips on fingering a guy's ass." (no, it was not a particularly helpful search, alas).

In related news, the original romance novel is now well over 70k words and we have a mutual love confession.

I am charmed because one of the tropes I've been thrilled every time I encounter it in c-dramas has been various forms of Gu: gu-abbetted warriors, gu as blood parasites, gu as poison, all the gu-warriors, so much gu!

So it depends on your person and how deep you are going.

It's hella intense to just rub up on the outer rim. And some people might be too tight to get much farther. In that case, one fun move is to lick a finger (or thumb) (quit making that face - you haven't even gotten inside yet) and drag it accross to get some pulling open action, and then bend the knuckle in so that you get just a little bit inside from that pull (and you're still sexy fingering, instead of pulling them open with two hands)

On the other hand, if this is an experienced bottom and you are doing the whole fisting journey, one important thing to remember is that there are curves to navigate. (and, unlike vaginal fisting, you aren't fighting actual bones to get inside) So one your knuckles are inside, hold your wrist parallel to the spine (so that if you were outside you could extend your thumb and it would line up) and open up your fingers a little to see if you've used the correct hand to slide along the first curve (which is either to the left or the right, usually it's going the right direction if you are right handed and the person is on their back) but if the curve is to the other side, you can either just bend your wrist more and ease around or switch hands, whichever is working for you two. but once you get your hand around that curve, everything squishes around and lines up with your wrist anyway. You're more paying attention to be less jabby, but everything is still soft and flexible.

Ummm... any maybe more tips in between those two extremes.

I have some experience (not with fisting, but general anal penetration with fingers and toys), but alas, my ex-partner of the last 15 years was not into it. Yes, where you're not so much thrusting as rocking circles inside them. If my partner is tight, I often end up with my first two fingers twisted around each other (and I figure that's more texture, but haven't actually gotten commentary back about it).
