Wednesday

Thank you to everyone for the kind comments and emails from yesterday. I'm feeling better today. Chin up and all that.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] saycestsay, I know I'm, well, pretty much everything I thought.

I am a d6

Few things are more mundanely annoying than turning to take my first sip of tea and realizing I forgot to pour the water. So the tea hasn't even steeped yet. Five more minutes until my fix, then.

Class last night went really well. We did some zill/footwork patterns, the last of which had me completely flummoxed, but my brain doesn't accept tricky combinations very well. I just have to do it over and over until muscle memory kicks in. Afterwards we worked on the bharatnatyam fusion piece. It's going to rock my world, I can tell. That one number is going to be worth the price of admission for the summer Cairo On The Kaw dance show. Especially if I get full rein on the costume design. Bwa ha ha.

Speaking of costume, it's high time I get off my ass and start working on my new cabaret costume. *twitch* Maybe I'll finish that canopy for the bed first, though...mmmm, nothing like the smell of procrastination in the morning.

This afternoon, another PT appointment. Tonight, checking out a group for families with bi-polar members.

I hope I'm not asked to wear a name tag.

PT details?

Could you get a bit more detailed on the PT,
I'm curious as to how they are approaching your condition.

Yours in Practice,
Adam

Right now just excercises and massage. Exercises twice a day, every day, massage three times a week. I'm also on diclofen potassium, 50mg three times a day.

Gotcha.
(Extra interested this week, 'cause wa are Reviewing Human arm and wrist this week in Human Anatomy class.)

If you need a model, let me know. =) I impressed the hell out of everyone with my range of motion...No matter how far you bend the wrist joint, I don't get a stretch. The joint stops moving before I feel any strain in the muscles or tendons.

Would it be a bother if I brought along my Anatomy Atlas, and we could compare wrist action and flexion?

As an outlier in flexability range, you could be really, umm, handy?
*pun not intentional, durn-it*

Let me know, I'll ply thee with tea.

Always happy to be a model of human oddity. Let me know when and where you'd like to meet up.

Maybe there are contortionist genes in you from family past. I watched a show on contortionism a couple nights ago. It was so cool, but made me hurt just watching. There were people even more amazing than what you see in Cirque du Soleil, which they also featured during the show.

I <3 contortionists. I wish I'd known about it when I was little. I could have been a contender!

Huh.

Wow, now I'm intrigued as to what your answers were...

[identity profile] mckitterick.livejournal.com 2005-03-09 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Me too. I mean, what did I say to elicit this? Perhaps the thing about the monsters not co-existing, the iocaine powder, or the red-dragon pet....

Perhaps the thing about the monsters not co-existing
I picked that one, too. =D

Weird. Could'a sworn I am a d10.

[identity profile] solan-t.livejournal.com 2005-03-09 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I picked the red dragon as a pet. I am aware the pet/owner relationship wouldn't work out QUITE they way they suggest, of course...

[identity profile] stuology.livejournal.com 2005-03-09 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I picked the not co-existing answer too, and got a different result than both of you.

I think that having 5 individual pets that join together to form one super-pet would be the best ever!
