I think the .ogg format is weird. I mean, the speaker quality on the average joe's computer is okay at best. Why put your post in a format that only half the people can hear, and of those that can hear it, maybe a quarter could tell the difference of sound quality? Silly.

Actually, the issue is not really about quality so much as open source and accessibility. The .MP3 format is proprietary, but the .OGG one is not -- it's free. Unfortunately there isn't much support for the format built painlessly into the mainstream operating systems' default players.
