It's the little things
After scouring the stores here in Lawrence and when I was visiting my parents in Indianapolis, I finally found my perfect travel purse for my NYC trip last night in Kansas City. It's a nice medium size bag with a full zipper closure at the top, and a zipper pouch that holds wallet contents (so I don't have to carry a separate wallet) on the side of the bag that lays against my hip. Oh, and a cross-over strap so I don't have to worry about the bag sliding off my shoulder.
I'm quite pleased and relieved to find something that had everything I was looking for. I am a tad embarassed by the "Liz Claiborne" metal thing on the front, but it's small. And it was on a sale table for $35.
In the middle of all my life bullshit that's going on right now, its nice to take comfort in finding the perfect purse.
