Misery

Pounding sinuses, sore throat, dry itchy eyes, runny nose, aching muscles. Flu? No. Allergies.

I want to crawl into bed and not get out until Thanksgiving.

Huh -- I saw on the CNN news today that Kansas City is #9 on the list of cities with the worst allergies. St. Louis is top-10, too. Makes me wonder where Lawrence stands; I'm guessin' high.

I've decided the best way to handle allergy season is with lots of wine. If I'm going to have to suffer headaches, stuffy sinuses and puffy eyes, I might as well enjoy being tiddly the evening beforehand.
I know it's not on the agenda for the low carb thingy, but at this point I don't care. Anything but allergy misery.
