kansas_dave. List 10 things in a day that give you a moment of joy. (I hope nobody expects all ten of these to happen in any one day)
1. My kitten cuddling with me.
2. A beautiful blue sky.
3. Having someone compliment my cooking.
4. Finishing a sewing project.
5. Finding my damn car keys, planner, cell phone, or other often-lost item.
6. Getting a card from Mommy that she made herself.
7. Waking up and realizing it's Saturday.
8. A perfect cup of tea shared with a friend.
9. Getting a pedicure (although this is more like 45 minutes of joy).
10. Being told that I am loved.
A few specifics that would bring me joy today:
This zit I feel forming on my chin magically disappearing by evening.
Finding my missing CDs (in particular, Sugar's Copper Blue--did I loan it to someone?).
Getting to go home early w/o having to take vacation time.
Being told exactly the number and lengths of boning for nottygypsy's bodice so I can email corsettegirl my order this morning. Ahem, ahem.
