Oh, joy

Tagged by [livejournal.com profile] kansas_dave. List 10 things in a day that give you a moment of joy. (I hope nobody expects all ten of these to happen in any one day)

1. My kitten cuddling with me.
2. A beautiful blue sky.
3. Having someone compliment my cooking.
4. Finishing a sewing project.
5. Finding my damn car keys, planner, cell phone, or other often-lost item.
6. Getting a card from Mommy that she made herself.
7. Waking up and realizing it's Saturday.
8. A perfect cup of tea shared with a friend.
9. Getting a pedicure (although this is more like 45 minutes of joy).
10. Being told that I am loved.

A few specifics that would bring me joy today:
  • This zit I feel forming on my chin magically disappearing by evening.
  • Finding my missing CDs (in particular, Sugar's Copper Blue--did I loan it to someone?).
  • Getting to go home early w/o having to take vacation time.
  • Being told exactly the number and lengths of boning for [livejournal.com profile] nottygypsy's bodice so I can email [livejournal.com profile] corsettegirl my order this morning. Ahem, ahem.

    4 bones to a side, total of 8. Can't remember the measurements, sorry (10-12"???). I have a stash of extras though so if you end up short a couple, let me know.

    I emailed you some info on the lengths...does that help? Or should I just raid your stash instead of ordering the wrong lengths?

    I'm Sorry! I don't play on LJ at work, Grnvixen has my email at work though and could have told me you were trying to get me, ahem. I checked the recent contact list all my stuff was correct. I guess I will go with out bone, par for the freaking course lately.
