Houston, we have a problem
It's called Procrastination. I don't procrastinate on anything except for costuming. Argh. It's a lesson I fear I will never learn.
Last night one of the newer (non-sewing) dancers came over so I could help her on her harem pants. It took rather longer than the usual hour and a half I estimate for a harem-pants lesson. As we approached our third hour, I made the Executive Decision that I would just wear an old costume this weekend, damn it, because I was simply running out of time and energy. So. We wrapped up her stuff around ten p.m. I returned home to fiddle with possible costume combinations for this weekend, only to discover I have no costume bras that even come close to fitting. No vests, either. If we were doing the choli/bra combo I'd be all set, but for some reason Jo doesn't like that look anymore (boo hiss since I love it and it's soooo much more comfortable than the bra/vest IMO). Yeah. So. I do have to finish this costume after all. By Saturday morning. Wish me luck, folks. I'm gonna need it. I might also need another day off. We'll see. Ugh! I hate using my vacation days to do stuff that I should have done months ago. Stupid stupid girl.
Feeling a wee bit tired since I didn't get to bed until midnight and then was up thirty minutes early just so I could wash my dishes. They were getting scary. But at least they're done now, and done before they started to smell, thank you very much.
I'm chipper today, in spite of exhaustion and costuming panic, thanks to pretty nose sparkly that I remembered to put in last night, and a haircut. Same style, just went in for a mega-trim yesterday afternoon. It's a good thing I don't wear the Yak for nearly two weeks because I don't think I'd have enough hair to pin it to right now.

I'm even considering maybe (*gasp*) leaving campus for lunch!

Here's to some fresh air (and a fresh set of stimuli in the visual field) for you.

Blessings, dear, and blessings to whoever included me in your circle Saturday. Or was it Sunday?
