Spicy yet dependable. You pull punches, but people still love you. |
I thought people would love me
because I pull my punches. Except when it concerns
dvicci. Sorry, Veatch. I still feel kinda bad about that.
From
rowangolightlyName someone with the same birthday as you: Jackie Robinson. Cool!
Where was your first kiss? I think...no, that wasn't it...um. Er. Oh, surely not. But I think yes, my first kiss was a stage kiss in an acting competition my junior year of high school. How embarassing. Can I be more of a dork?
Have you ever seriously vandalised someone else's property? No. Nor have I ever lightheartedly vandalized someone's property.
Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex? Yes. Knocked him down, too. They're right when they say punch from the shoulder. It works.
Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people? Large? Does my church count? How about junior high choir concert? I had a solo...
What's the first thing you notice about the preferred sex? There's not one first thing. My favorite things about men's bodies are wide shoulders, narrow hips, a good nose, and facial hair is a definite plus. For women, I like soft curves, a good nose, and (let's be honest here) a big round butt.
What really turns you on? Breathing.
What do you order at coffee shops? If I don't know the quality of their coffee, a latte. Because enough milk will lessen the nastiness of bitter, burnt coffee.
What is your biggest mistake? Oh, I don't like to tempt fate by suggesting that I've already made my biggest mistake, so let's just move on.
Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose? No, I hurt myself enough by pure accident, thanks.
Say something totally random about yourself. I'm retaining some mega-water, folks, and it's not even That Time Of The Month. Bummer.
Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity? Yes. Claudia Black.
Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows? Oh hell yes.
Did you have braces? Ugh. Yes. I had horrible teeth when I was a kid.
Are you comfortable with your height? I would like to have been as tall as my mom (5'9"), but oh well.
What is the most romantic thing someone of the opposite sex has done for you? *shrug*
Do you speak any other languages? Halting Spanish, present tense only. But I bet I could be halfway decent again given time to brush up.
Have you ever been to a tanning salon? Nope. Although every year I think about getting a spray tan for Middle Eastern Weekend.
What magazines do you read? None, although I'll page through trashy fashion magazines when I'm waiting in line or at the doctor's office.
Have you ever ridden in a limo? Yes! Very fun, although I get carsick if I'm in for too long. And I can't ride in the seat that faces backwards.
Has anyone you were really close to passed away? Yes.
Do you watch mtv? No.
What's something that really annoys you? People who are purposefully stupid.
What's something you really like? Being alive.
Do you like Michael Jackson? Not really, no.
Can you dance? Yes! And I need to do it more often.
What's the latest you have ever stayed up? All night to see the sunrise.
Have you ever been rushed by an ambulance into the emergency room? No, thank gods.
Do you actually read these when other people fill them out? Yes! I like learning tidbits of information about my friends.

3. How many computers are in your household? (at home if you are away at school)Just the laptop. How times change.
4. What are your favorite games/timewasters on your computer? Livejournal, duh.
5. If money were no object, what kind of computer would you like to have? I'd like to have a computer with a fancy-schmancy embroidery sewing machine attached to it.

1. What is the most important thing you've ever lost? The cooking knowledge that died with Gramma before I could learn it all.
2. When is the last time you lost your keys? Last January. And they remained lost for about three months. Crazy. This is why I keep spares.
3. Have you ever felt like you've lost your mind? Not really, although it does tend to wander about on its own quite often.
4. Are you likely to ask for directions when lost or to continue to wander? I always ask.
5. Numerology: reliable or just a load of bunk? Eh. Some things work for some people. Numerology doesn't really do it for me, though.
And now, what you've all been waiting for, pics of the finished costume for this weekend:
