Point first: Thanks everyone who gushed over yesterday's icon. I'd love to get a better quality image of that pose. Maybe next year, rougewench, we can undress The Spanish in the lanes again and get a couple shots in high resolution? Or, green_tara76, that can be one of our posed shots sometime...argh! Sometime sometime sometime. Sigh.

Point second: Didn't someone local on my flist mention their child was selling girl scout cookies? Isn't it about that time of year? Who was it? I don't want to miss my window of opportunity for Thin Mints.

Point third: I'm done with holiday shopping for my family and that feels good.

Point four: I might be getting OCR software for my scanner here at the office. OmniPage is still really pricey, though. Does anyone have recommendations for good OCR software that might be cheaper? We don't want to spend less on a crappy program just because it's cheaper.

Point five: I'm headed to KC tonight to go to a friend's Duran Duran DVD release party. \m/ >_< \m/

I think that just about covers it...and I've run out of fingers.

Argh. First time I've checked LJ in forever, and I feel like I've been out of the loop for a year. So, send me the image! It sounds totally intriguing. I've been collecting some cushions for the occasion...and I've made friends with the owner of Pachamama's. I heart their space now, and I hear the new one downtown is going to be bee-yoo-ti-ful as well, so maybe we can use them sometime, and get a cocktail to boot. Sound fun?
