Good to be home again!
First off, I found out from
skajester on the
lawrence_ks community that a friend of mine's car was stolen last week. He says:
Just to let you know, some scummy bastard stole my car. It is a 1964 Buick Wildcat. The freakin' thing is unmistakable, it looks like the fucking batmobile. It was parked behind 715 New York St. here in Lawrence, and was probably stolen sometime between late Tuesday, Nov. 22, & early Wednesday, November 23, from the alley parking behind the house. If anybody sees an old Wildcat or hears about one for sale, let me know &/or kick the shit out of whom ever is trying to sell it. Unless it is a kick-ass BURGUNDY '64 Wildcat, 'cuz that belongs to Robert, and his is cooler than mine, because his actually runs.
Please keep an eye out for Thad's car. Thanks.
Thanksgiving with my family was marvelous and I hardly missed having turkey, my uncle's baked ham was so amazing. Got to see the Lord of the Rings Exhibit at the Indiana State Museum. Lots of costumes and props. Gorgeous. Wish they had a book of the exhibit. I would love to have some closeups of the details--especially on the armor. So pretty.
Did not go to see the Harry Potter movie since Mommy just couldn't wait and went to go see it before we got there. In fact, found out she and Daddy went out to go see it right after the phone call where they asked if I wanted to go. *eyeroll*
The storm yesterday was crazy and wonderful. I'm glad the hail wasn't any larger than it was.
Home now.
