OK, I'm just going to ask: Who wants to go see Brokeback Mountain with me?

I was just sorta "eh" about it until I saw some photos that defintely won't be appearing on the Yahoo!Movies site. Gods. Can someone hand me a towel?

There are certain persons on my flist who would be perfect company for this, but alas, they live far far away. Do any of my local girls get weak-kneed over the Boy-on-Boy? Anyone? Anyone? Am I alone here?

I think I need a new icon for "Hot and Bothered."

Damn. I wish I wasn't part of that "far, far away" group! I'd love to go see this movie with you. I've been anxiously awaiting this one for a while, but after seeing those pics, I'm now super-excited! I think I will leave the husband at home so I can fully enjoy the hot man-on-man action without any twinges of guilt. ;)

It looks like they're doing a staggered release schedule on this. Only a few cities are opening the movie Dec. 9. Some more are getting it on Dec. 16, but all the searching I did tonight seems to suggest that the KC-Lawrence area might not be getting the movie until it hits full national release in January. [*frown*]

Of course, if that *is* the case, it gives me more time to try to massage my schedule, in the hopes that I'll be able to tag along...
