Hello, February
I need another coffee mug like I need another hole in my head. But I think I might have to order this one. 'Cos you know, if you can't laugh at your pain, it's all over, baby. Yet another faboo item found via Just What I Wanted.
To go with my possible new coffee mug, I'm going to buy myself this electric kettle with the money Mommy's sending me for my birthday. Isn't it beautiful?
Through February 10, I'm working 7:30 to 4:30 because my office mate is on vacation (she's the one who opens the office usually). This is cool for two major reasons. One: Dude. I get to leave at 4:30. Two: I get to listen to My Own Music. \m/ >_< \m/ Right now: Paul's Boutique, the best Beastie Boys album IMO. What a fantastic way to get the morning going. I really need to figure out how to rip my CDs and get them on this computer (or, better yet, in MP3 format on some CDs) so I don't have to keep bringing CDs to the office. Yes, yes, I know, it's very simple, but see, I don't have a computer of my own and I can't install anything on this computer at work. So that makes things a little trickier.
Whoa, got called away there for a bit. The photocopier is broken again. Hooray.
I'm giving up on this growing-out-the-hair business. I really really like the way I look with my uber-short hair. I mean, check the user icon. I look good with this hair. It seems silly to give up this hairdo for something that only lasts 8 weekends a year. I'll figure out something should the wig cease to look good with all the white in my hair. And finally, this hair-growing-out business sucks ass. I'm feeling bleh enough. I don't need my hair looking like crap on top of everything else. So, yeah. I'm throwing in the towel on this experiment. I'm just not ready yet.
Last night I had the most fascinating dream. My life was a musical and the key points in my life were played out in song. Folks, I actually was singing original melodies with rhyming lyrics that I made up as I went! It was super cool. Of course I don't remember any of the songs now, but it was so incredibly wonderful. Sometimes I miss my singing voice...but not enough to put the time and work into getting it back. Too many other things now.
Like the Quilt of Doom. Christ, quilting is slow. No wonder those things go for thousands of dollars at auctions. It's insane.
I'm considering taking Spring Break off. I'm not going to have the money to go anywhere, but more than two consecutive days off work sounds pretty amazing right now.

I like the shorter hair, in all the pics I've seen.
Speaking of music, did you ever get a chance to listen to the CD I made? Not trying to guilt you, just curious as to what you thought.

I am so so sorry. I vaguely remember that, but I have not a clue what happened to it. Um. Is it still on the server?

It is!
I'll email over the location.

I decided to go to sleep instead of watching the State of the Union. I guess my body just couldn't stomach it.

What I REALLY want is that blow monkey nail dryer. So cute.

And IKEA? I'd better rent a Penske truck for the trip home...
