Ugh--pretty much the opposite of *guh!*

Weekend: Saturday, good times with [livejournal.com profile] angel_in_purple, although we did miss the company of [livejournal.com profile] cedarsong and [livejournal.com profile] everflame. [livejournal.com profile] angel_in_purple was running a little late so I had the unexpected pleasure of an extended chat with [livejournal.com profile] mesniu. However, I did a poor job of planning and wound up missing [livejournal.com profile] nottygypsy's party. Suck. Had a lovely time with people at [livejournal.com profile] radcliffe's birthday lunch.

Feeling Really Very Not So Good right now. Little sleep was had last night. I'm not sure how much, but never more than two consecutive hours at a time, broken up by long periods of unhappy wakefulness. Not fun.

Although one of my favorite bands, BR5-49, is playing The Bottleneck on Saturday, I'm having second thoughts about going. I know it's going to be absolutely fucking packed in there (they come near to selling out Liberty Hall for god's sake) and I just don't think I'm up for that.

One very bright spot, however, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] gmskarka. I'll probably be watching this several times today. Brilliant.

New icon thanks to a quote spotted in [livejournal.com profile] kalinobeche's LJ.

I really shouldn't have expected much out of a day that started with the word of the day being excoriate: to express strong disapproval of; also, to flay.

DAMN YOU! I was just getting ready to post that link in MY journal!

Wow, I actually beat you to something cool! Roxxor.

We have vastly different F-lists, though, so I doubt anyone will mind when you post it in yours.

BR5-49's in town? Cool! They are one of the few county bands I follow, mostly because Chuck Mead is a local boy and I taught him to ride his first horse :). Don't know if I want to fight the crowd either, altho I know his folks, especially his mom, always goes and it would be nice to catch up with them. If you make it, give 'em a hoot and holler for me. BTW: I took the bead button class on saturday, let me know when you want to try it.

I really doubt I'll go to the show. If I do, it'll probably be a last minute decision and with my luck, it'll have sold out.

I would *love* to try the bead button technique. I forgot my planner at home today, but I'll email you tomorrow with available weekends. Cool!

Hilary said she was going to the show.

Kicked myself when I got your message. Thanks for thinking of me!

Loved the link! Work of twisted genius!! Bliss!

I'm sorry you didn't have a good night. It must be going around . . . I spent the night waking up repeatedly, and every d*mn time the same melancholy eight bars of a certain song was going through my mind. And me too tired to get up and pound my head against the wall. Better luck tonight.
