Back in the saddle
Tonight: To the gym for weight lifting and exercise, thanks largely to the encouragement of
adammaker. I forgot to take measurements after getting home from yoga last night, though. But I've got a starting weight of 152. Weight isn't such a big deal for me, since when I was a serious gym bunny back in, what? 1997? I was 145 with a 26" waist. So yeah, actual weight is not that big of an issue. But I sure would like to get that 26" waist back. That's only about two and a half inches away. Certainly do-able.
I'm feeling particularly inspired after paging through some of the Yahoo! photos of the Brazilian float dancers for Carnival. My god, those women have amazing bodies. They're also inspiring me to start on some new cabaret costumes. Damn, I wish the costuming books I ordered would get here already! I want to see the author's tips and tricks for bra-building before I start my next one.
I don't really feel like doing my job today. Not a good thing since I'm staring at a large pile of Very Important Paperwork. That's not sarcasm. It really is very important stuff. I guess I'd better get cracking.
