You know, I think at this point I'd be freaking asking my doctor why exactly it is that they are not testing you to rule out something that might be curable with a course of antibiotics before putting you on a drug that cost half an arm monthly...

I went poking on the web, and apparently the protonix web site is offering $30 rebates on your next prescription.

Secondly, is there a compelling reason why they're having you take this drug and not Prillosec? Since it's over the counter now it is A LOT cheaper ($25 for a month and a half supply). Just wondering...
