A smorgasbord of learning opportunities

As I mentioned last week, my sonogram showed no gallstones. Monday they called to tell me the bloodwork tests all came back as normal. No ulcer. No H. pylori infection. No pancreatitis. Now I get to have a CAT scan of my abdomen. All these new experiences I'm being given! How thrilling!

The CAT scan is scheduled for Friday morning. I have my metabolism evaluation tomorrow morning. Two days in a row of 12 hour fasts! My favorite!

Thunderstorms at 5:30 this morning cut my Much Needed Hours of Sleep way too short. I admit I'm not at my best today.

Best wishes to certain persons. You were so strong and brave yesterday. Keep going.

hey we woke up at the same time. :)

new things kick ass and that they dont find bad things is even better. i so hope the trend contiunes. and that the problems just go away and never return.

problems just go away and never return.

That would be nice, but I doubt it will be that easy.

At this point, I fear some sort of major food allergy. If the CAT scan comes up negative (which I'm betting is more likely than not), I'll ask to undergo allergy testing.

Hurrah.

Thanks. I'm grateful that my issues are more irritating than stressful. I hate all the time it takes!!!! I need a psychic hotline to figure out what's wrong with me without having to fast for 12 hours.

That was my wake up call this morning, too. Much too early for me, as well.

I hope they can come up with SOME explanation of your troubles, if only so there's some chance of making them stop.

Thunderstorm woke me up too. So did the call of Pari's bathroom assistance request, and at 4am her turning on her cd player (swing music, at least it was a moderate level. She likes the sound while she sleeps.)

On the plus side, you have a doc willing to try and get to the cause of this problem. To often in the past medical professionals have tended to just shrug off any abdominal pain in women as reproductive 'stuff'. Hope you get some answers soon and they are easy ones to deal with.

Thanks for your best wishes. I was extremely strong yesterday. I'm glad somebody around here noticed.

Hrmph.

Hope your health issues are resolved soon. Having just spent nearly four months of [livejournal.com profile] sagendal being ill, I know chronic health stuff is major sucky.
