Ouch

I fought a sinus migraine Friday evening (distraction is a wonderful thing) but it laid me out for most of Saturday. Sunday I was a bit better. Yesterday I felt it coming on again. Today I can feel it behind my nose and eyes and I'm starting to feel slightly nauseated.

Stupid headaches. The jackhammers tearing apart Wescoe second floor aren't helping.

I get those too... horrible! If I can catch it while it's still a sinus headache - before it becomes a full-blown migraine - Aleve Sinus Headache is a lifesaver!!

I've been taking a Naproxen/Ibuprofen cocktail and that usually helps a bit. Next time I'm at the drugstore I'll look at the name brand one. If it's geared for sinus headaches, that is a wonderful thing!!! Thank you!

I tend to rely on an Ibuprofen/Aspirin/sleep mix. Does wonders.

Another good one (though odd) for sinus headaches is this:

Boil a slice of ginger in hot water. Add a two tablespoons of honey for flavor. Drink. It tends to clear the sinuses right out. For a throat cold, the same mix with half-honey, half boiled ginger water does wonders.

Your mileage may vary. :^)

I drink honey-ginger tea for tummyaches a lot. Never thought to do it for headaches! Thank you!

Do you think that tea will help my stomach? I don't normally drink tea, but then, I don't normally avoid food!

It certainly couldn't hurt. If you don't have any fresh ginger, a pinch of powdered ginger in a mug of hot water will suffice. And the honey helps it go down.

Ginger is generally considered to be good for your stomach. Weird that something that is generally "spicy" or "hot" would be good for it, but there it is.

J gave me one of his Imitrex shotguns when I had a bad one. It really made me consider getting a couple from the doc for just such occasions.
I hope you feel better soon.
