Weekend recap, tardy
Late to the game, so this is brief.
Saturday threatened to rain but didn't. I found a wonderful hat but the color was all wrong. Hopefully he'll be able to find something suitable--and soon! Robert Dudley looked outstanding in his tights. I never found Mr. 203, thus missing out on a food coupon booklet once again.
Sunday. Longest. Day. Ever. It was like a twilight zone episode where the entire day ran in slow motion. It was painful. Absolutely painful. And then a gnat flew up my nose.
Er. That's it.
Last night I stayed up later than I should have, but by gods I got my bra finished for this weekend. Tonight, the angel clothed in
roya_spirit's person is helping me fit the ghawazee coat and I'll make the harem pants. Thursday I'm making the fringe belt. Friday I'm going to bed early. Well, assuming all goes well. Which it will. Right?
Had my annual visit with the endocrinologist yesterday. I have to drive to Topeka now to see him. Lawrence doesn't have a single endocrinologist anymore, and Dr. Fairchild says that trend is spreading across the entire midwest. Scary. My levels are still a little low, but that's preferable to being high (higher levels would indicate my thyroid is overactive and swelling again). He can still feel the goiter just a bit, mostly on the left side, but it's significantly smaller than it was when we started treatment. So we continue the same treatment for another year. Hurray! I love being able to solve this problem with a tiny little pill.
Also, note the new icon in honor of how much coffee I'm drinking these days.
