indigodreamer, spread with the Indian Trail cranberry relish I mentioned a few posts ago is really, truly, an amazing breakfast. It could only be made better by eating it in bed. With my kitty curled at my feet. And maybe a heating pad. It's freezing in here.

It's a slow day here in ~~Lake Woebegone~~ the English Department. Grades are due by midnight, so I expect I'll see a barrage of calls around 4:30 from professors who can't figure out the new online grade submission forms. I have no sympathy for those people. No sympathy at all. I do have sympathy for our poor visiting professor, living in Western Kansas, who has no internet connection, and has been trying to submit his grades since Monday. I have all the sympathy in the world for him. Poor guy. Western Kansas and no internet connection? I guess that's how he gets novels written. Still. shudder We'll see if his students actually get grades or "WG" on their cards for this semester.

Please tell me you direct those profs to the registrar's or enroll and pay, and don't actually walk them through it yourself...

Well, seeing as I don't have access to the grade roster screens, I can't really walk them through.

I sincerely hope that your online grade submission process works a whole lot better than ours. In 5 years, I have never been able to put in my grades from home. So today, I took my last plan period and finished entering every single one of the practice record grades, just so I could say, "Yes! They are in!"

Now, I can enjoy Winter Break...
