Better
I feel much better today. Thanks all for the well-wishes. The injury wasn't as bad as I feared--just a pulled muscle, no joint damage. Resting it all day yesterday worked wonders and I'm mostly getting around just fine now.
I ordered the damn shoes online after all. I made the best effort I could to buy locally--I even tried to find alternate styles of shoes that places in town had in stock.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
roya_spirit will attest that nothing came close in terms of style. Everything that looked remotely appropriate for traipsing about in museums and the Italian countryside looked orthopedic, hippie-esque, or *shudder* both. So. Let's hope these fit. At least Zappo's has free shipping.
Bad work attitude lately. Not helpful. It's nothing major--I just don't want to be here. Meh. My office is freezing and that does not help.
