Still sick.

So yesterday was fun. I woke up at 1:00 a.m. and didn't fall back asleep until 6:00 a.m. I did, however, get to listen to most of the four-hour BBC morning news broadcast (I got to hear about Vonnegut's death about 1:30 a.m. or so), do my taxes, read a bit, and bake some scones. I returned to bed for the fourth time a bit before 6:00, slept for thirty minutes, woke up, called in sick to work, and went back to sleep for another hour.

Yesterday was a long day.

Still coughing, and now I feel achey with a headache--flu-like. I'm sure it's my body and the antibiotics trying to assert authority over this plague in my system.

I feel like hell and I really just want to go home.

Oh, and in the two days I was away from the office, somebody stole my stapler. Not kidding.

Luckily, all I need to do is walk across the hall to get a new one. Which they could have done, too.

2. If they get too many too often, it goes into their file?
3. Hard to not requisition things from an unused desk. (Hey, I've been looking for one of those, it's perfect for me!)

If I was going to steal something off my desk, it would be the Black Cat Bobble Head (http://www.bobbleheadstore.net/bobble/cat.htm). The Stapler Thief obviously has no sense of taste.
