The Golden Compass was a children's book series which people either loved or hated. I was in the hate camp, and that has nothing to do with the fact that I also hate the meme...
You have to wait until when? May 1st? The medical field is so stupidly bureaucratic. We are going out in around 45 minutes. Let me know if you need anything dropped off for you so you can go home and rest.
I'm going home at noon, but I think I'm set for everything right now. Cough syrup, tissues, and tea. If you find any new and improved lungs and/or sinuses somewhere, let me know.
Putting large pix and content behind a clicky-link (http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=75) so as not to annoy folks who might not care to see it, or for shortening load time with large images. It's a courtesy.
I'm guilty - but I tried to cut it and it blew up. Tried three different times, in fact. I think the embed code is optimized for MySpace - which doesn't always work out in LJ, I've noticed.
It's a cute meme (as is the Virtual DNA one), but since they both use the latest version of Flash, they don't load correctly on a lot of computers (including this one here at school - embedded Flash content is blocked).
On the illness front, hang in there. I hope your new doctor has some working solutions for you (when you are able to go see him/her).
