Still loving listening to my own music

Found on CuteOverload. As they say: Best 5 second video on the entire internet. Ain't lyin'. (Sound isn't crucial, but it helps a lot.)

I'm supposed to do the mail today at work. The two people who have a key to the mailroom are on vacation today. Lovely.

One of the things that amuses me most about LJ is the phenomenon of posting a comment and realizing that you need to make a new icon to fit the comment. In fact, how have you survived so long without That Particular Icon? So I guess you all know what I'll be doing with any spare time I have today.

I just noticed the subject line; what does it refer to?

There was an interview with Journey's Steve Perry that I recall; when asked what kinds of music he enjoyed at home, he said something like, "You know, I listen to a lot of different stuff, but I have to say that I really enjoy listening to my music, the stuff I've made."

It struck me as... just... astoundingly egotistical to do that, and even more so to publicly admit it.

And what a nose that guy has -- not that I'm one to throw stones on issues of big noses or big ego.

The fact that I can listen to my own music in my own office now.
