Again? Didn't we just do this?
More weather. More rain. More...headache.
This one started about 3:30 p.m. yesterday. By the time I got home I was pretty disoriented. But starving. So I started to make dinner. And I poured the water for the rice not in the pot, but in the Rubbermaid container of rice. So I had to make the rest of the rice I had stored. I now have about ten cups of cooked rice left over (that's after making dinner and a batch of rice pudding).
Stellar.
My "sigraine" (sinus-migraine) headaches are so strange and so frustrating. They don't match the standard specs for migraines, although as I get older I'm starting to experience the nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound. No auras, which is actually kind of a bummer. I don't get any warning, either. They just come on--BOOM--and steadily get worse. None of the migraine drugs help (which isn't unusual), and there's pretty much nothing I can do about it when I get one except sorta take it easy and hope it doesn't last too long. At least mine are fairly low-level. I think I've only been knocked down to Incapacitated twice.
Anyway.
So today: Slog through and hope the weather clears. Usually when the pressure changes cease, so does the headache.
UPDATE: Crap. I blew my nose and realized I forgot to put my nose ring in, too. *groan* Not a big deal--just means it'll be a little snug when I finally get it in this evening. One more thing.

I feel your pain
Just something to consider. Mine's in Basehor and is fantastic! Very holistic and not one of those "you have to come back 2x/week for the rest of your life" guys. Works closely with a massage therapist and is young and attractive, too!
Take care of you!

My headaches are pretty seasonal, brought on by allergies and weird weather. Well, not really weird, but low-pressure systems that don't result in a storm wreak havoc with my head. And we've had a whole week of "not-quite-storm" now. Suxxor. If the system would either break or move on I'd be fine.
I think there's also some allergy issues (mold, most likely, what with all the wet) since I've got some serious drainage going on, too. Dat shit nasty.
Sorry to hear you get headaches, too. Talk about a lot of Not Fun.

Not really. I've suffered from by-the-book migraines for 22-years, and the aura part doesn't make it any better. The only good part is it gives you a small bit of warning that you are about to suffer a skull-crushing migraine. When most medications do not work to get rid of the migraine, that small bit of warning is nothing but a small span of dread.
