Back home!

Back at home, back at work. Italy was fantastic and I am dead tired. I skimmed my f-list, but no doubt missed many things. I suspect today and tomorrow I'll be playing catch-up at work. Hopefully things will resume their (comparative) normalcy next week.

I already miss good Italian espresso.

Welcome home! Chris is still missing the espresso. :)

My stovetop model doesn''t make the same quality stuff as those giant steam-powered engines. Mmmm.

I wish my stomach could handle espresso--I love the smell, but it always makes me feel shaky and *bad*. I'm a tea girl.

Welcome back!

I already miss good Italian espresso.

I do too, and I haven't even been to Italy.

Glad you had a safe trip!

Italy

When I came home, the thing I missed most was the bread. I could have lived on that the whole time I was there. I am glad to hear you had a fab time and I look foward to seeing you this fall.

Being so sensitive to carbs, I've lost my taste for most breads. But I remember loving it when I was there in the 80s.

Yes! See you this fall--in like, what? A month? Eeek! Gotta get my ass in gear...I'm not ready for faire by a long shot.

I'm also glad you are back! And that you got your passport in time to even go.

Do you want me to just hang on to your needle cases and take them with me to the Michigan Fiber festival? I leave this next Wednesday to teach in Phoenix, get hom the following Monday and leave again Wednesday for Michigan.

That'd be awesome. Thanks, hon!

Hopefully I'll sell more of them there than I did in Colorado.

glad to see you back home safe and sound, even if you'll be bored now.

Oh, I'm never bored. Life's too short to be bored!

YEAH!

Glad you traveled safely and got to enjoy the espresso while you were there. What was the best part - besides the coffee?

PS - A friend of mine has a stove top thing that stems the milk while brewing the coffee and blends them which is the closest I've found since our trip. I'll find a link to send you.

I've seen that little coffeemaker and I want one! They're a little pricey, though. Crate & Barrel has them for the cheapest, I think, at about $80.
