Monday...and where did my weekend go?
This was a weekend of great productivity which means this morning I'm exhausted. And I have a crick in my neck on the right side. Bleh.
Hours of sweating, lifting, hauling, minor injuries, and a very few tears resulted in the sewing room being still not quite organized but still better than it was when I started. It seems insurmountable, clearing out everything that was in the room and replacing it with Just Sewing/Craft Stuff Only. All this stuff has to go somewhere, though. I suspect that I'll be posting to Lawrence Freecycle quite a bit.
Speaking of getting rid of things, does anyone want a very nice, very pretty, and very expensive flower press? I've had it for ages (it was a gift) and I am never going to use it. I'm sure it cost the gifter a lot of money, but drying and pressing flowers is just Not My Thing. Free to a good home. Just please get this thing out of my house. Also up for grabs (so far) are several back issues of Saveur magazine.
starstraf gave them to me ages ago and I finally got through them all. Saveur is an absolutely fantastic foodie/culture magazine. It blows away Gourmet and Food & Wine, IMO. Let me know if you want these and we'll arrange for a pick-up.
Oops. Just realized that I forgot to take my allergy spritz this morning. I started on a new medication, Astelin, and so far it's been doing pretty well. I've noticed a decrease in the post-nasal drip, but it's hard to say for sure about anything else. My eyes were itchy all weekend, but that's probably do to the amounts of dust I stirred up in my organizational efforts. Anyway, it's a nose spray instead of a pill (I take my vitamins at my desk while I eat breakfast), and I forgot to dose myself before I left for work today. Drat.

As I recall, Astelin was too damn bitter tasting (for HOURS) for me. Yes, it's at the back of my throat, but I could still taste/feel/sense it somehow. Awful stuff.

I should probably move it to the bathroom, yeah. Good idea. Right now it's in the kitchen which is, obviously, not ideal.

Keep updates on how the new meds are working. If it is the bomb, I might go ask for some to try for my horrible sinuses.

I'll email you to work out a pickup time.
