Humbled Warrior

nottygypsy: Please send good energy to a friend of hers who is having a very bad time right now. Details here. EDIT: I didn't realize Notty's post was locked. I have her permission to cut and paste the information about her friend :
I would like all my friends who are so inclined to send good thoughts, prayers, white lights, mantras whatever you do to a friend of mine.
The short story is he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Trying to play hero for a woman with an abusive boyfriend. There was an altercation, my friend suffered a broken arm, nose, lost a tooth and a bit of ear. His "victim" had 3 stitches, my friend has been in jail almost a year and not even had a trial yet.
This "victim" of his has been in jail twice since the incident, once for check fraud, this time for domestic battery. All I am hoping for is justice, that the prosecutor sees it's his witness that is the violent criminal and the charges against my friend are dropped.
Please help me out, I will re post this as a reminder on Friday's until his trial which is set for July Friday the 13th. All I am hoping is that what goes around comes around, and our justice system does not fail. Your thoughts, prayers, spells and meditations are so needed and appreciated! We are all hoping the judge will throw it out or the prosecuter will see that it is not worth perusing. I appreciate your good wishes and energy.
My life:
Restarted IF today. This week I'll be doing Fast-5 to re-acclimate my body to fasting. Next week I'll be joining
adammaker in doing full-day fasts. My fast days will be MWF.
Because it's pointless to do the fasting thing without backing it up with exercise, this morning I rose early for some Sun Salutations, a basic yoga routine, and some ab work.
That's a very light workout, but I'm shockingly out of shape. Even worse than I thought. My forward leg started to shake after just twenty seconds of Virabhadrasana II (Proud Warrior II). Definitely time to get back on the stick when it comes to moving my body.
It's scary to think how quickly one gets out of the habit of using one's body--and how quickly the body gets out of the habit of being used.
