A really fantastic excuse for violence and gore.

Now, I heard the first one really sucked, and maybe the one released in theaters did...mckitterick and I watched the director's cut on DVD and I actually kinda liked it. This sequel looks like a zero plot vehicle for gross-out effects, but I have say the release date was inspired.

The only comics I ever collected were the original Dark Horse Predators. I've actually got Predator #1 in a box in my office, along with AVP Deadliest of the Species. Great stuff. I'm a bit dismayed that more of the comic book stories have not made it to the big screen.

Perhaps we should declare a Bloody X-mas outing and get a bunch of folks together for brunch and a movie?
