Ugh, down with a cold. Achey and throat hurts. Snurking out yukky stuff. I am *so* not happy.

Insult to injury: I took a two hour nap. And feel worse.

Cooler...windy...cloudy. A chance of snow in the morning then a chance of flurries in the afternoon. Highs around 34. Temperatures falling into the upper 20s in the afternoon. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph. Chance of snow 50 percent.

Feeling better today. Had hot/cold chills yesterday and kept my miserable self at home. The extra rest did me good.

Unfortunately, we have different needs when we're ill. Boy is all "I'm lonely. Hug me. Bring me tea. Coddle poor wittle me." I'm more "Fuck off and don't talk to me until I'm over this."

So he tries to "do for me" like he wants done for him and it ends in frustration for both of us. =) But I'm feeling much better today. Whew.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. The need to do for others is of course tempered by how they want to be handled, and sometimes it takes more effort to walk away when the treatment is not your own preferred style of care. That said, I think it's nice to have someone to make the tea but I don't want them after that and it's a tricky thing to say "thanks, now go away."
