Time Flies
20 Years Ago, I...was a senior in high school. I was editor of the yearbook, won state awards for editing and copywriting, and considered majoring in journalism when I went to college. I had major roles in both drama productions of the year and was a co-founder of an improv acting group.
15 Years Ago, I... dropped out of college when I had a falling out with the Metals department in the School of Fine Arts. I moved to Kansas City for a very brief time and worked two jobs, one at CompUSA in Overland Park, and some evenings and weekends at The Beadtrader in Westport. I got engaged.
10 Years Ago, I... had just finished my final year of my Religious Studies B.A. and was living in Lawrence. I had fantastic friends, threw huge parties, attended amazing parties, went to shows at least a couple times a week, and in general had a really really good time. I was in the best shape of my life, thanks to a rigorous workout schedule and strict diet.

0verdrive in the house we bought. I think I was just starting to pack on the pounds due to the (as of yet undiagnosed) thyroid problem. I don't remember much about 2002. It must not have been terribly exciting.
2 Years Ago, I... was in my second year of working in the brothel, and was going through ugly personal relationship issues. Due to a mix of stress and thyroid medication, I was losing the last of my thyroid weight and by September was down to my ideal weight of 140 pounds. I dropped out of J's dance troupe. Life was up and down all the time. It was sucky. I moved again.
1 Year Ago, I... started thinking about possible other options for making a living. I was bored and unexcited about my job. I considered making a go at being self-employed. LJ entries tell me I was having serious allergy and headache issues (worse than this year). Fetish Kitty caught her first (and, to date, only) mouse.
So far this year, I've... gotten my own office at work and chucked the notion of being self-employed. At least for a while. I sewed my first bodice for someone I didn't know prior to the commission. I vacationed in Italy. I've seen my emotional life even out--finally!
Yesterday, I... went to yoga withcedarsong and everflame. Crowed to some friends about my absolutely fantastic Halloween costume plans. Y'all are gonna have kittens.
Today, I... have done very little except go out to lunch and get a stomachache from it. I'm trying to write a review of a (really good) CD, but my GI tract is making it difficult to concentrate on the music. After my haircut this evening, I'll do some laundry.
Tomorrow, I'll... go to work, come home, finish the laundry, and clean up my sewing room. If I have time, I'll put in some work on a gift for a friend that I should have finished last week.
This weekend, I'll... go be a whore at KCRF.
