So here's how I spent Columbus Day at KCRF. See this post's user icon for contrast.
Here I am, primping my pomp for the camera.

Again.

With Ladyhawk before heading out to mess with the performers. And get more beer.

With Juliet, whose shock was only second to that of the Queen's. See how close my hand is to her boob? I'm so smooth.

With the Queen. This little exchange was absolutely priceless. I wish I had a photo of her face when she first saw me. But she put on a good face for this photo.

Unfortunately, that's all the good pictures. We were all too drunk to hold the camera steady, so most of the photos are blurry and out of focus. Boo.
My thoughts on dressing in drag:
I thought I looked really good as a boy. Or as good as a woman with markedly feminine facial features could look. I loved the second looks and double-takes, especially when those came from people I know well.
Binding is infinitely more restrictive than a corset or a bodice. I was wrapped with three ace bandages and duct tape from my armpits to my hips. Not. Comfortable.
I'm glad I stopped waxing my facial hair. It made the mustache and beard effect really easy. Yes, that's my facial hair, folks. Just enhanced with mascara.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience a lot more than I thought I would. I've always liked the idea of being sexually ambiguous, but I never thought I could pull it off since I'm so girly (facially and figure-wise). I can't imagine trying to pass--I'm just not willing to put in the effort to learn to walk the walk (literally). But I can see the appeal of doing this occasionally.

I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I definitely feel something.

And ACE wrap and duct tape is the devil.
So sorry I missed it, but I'm glad that all of you had a good time being drunk and raucous and such.

Ah, nothing like a good shot of gender-questioning and sexual ambiguity to shake up people's sexuality. It's good for y'all.

I've done the ace bandage thing before too, when doing children's theater in college. Not fun when they slip when you are on stage :).

FYI - binding shirts or compression shirts are a much more comfortable way to bind if you think of doing this again - info here http://www.ftmguide.org/binding.html#compression
I went to a Halloween party once where everyone had met me and only about 10% of the people recognized me.

Sorry I couldn't take off work to see this. Let us know when Lyle comes out again ;)
I think the most fun I ever had cross-dressed was when Master Sue showed me how to pack. The reactions to *that* are a definite curiosity.

Thanks, Notty, for the hot name.
