I hope you've got your Cute Armor on
Because if you don't, this is totally going to kill you *ded*. I'm warning you. Seriously.
I kicked my ass this morning, which was good. Really good. I surprised myself at how much I could push after such a long span of laziness. I don't think I've demanded that much of myself in a workout since I stopped lifting in 1997(relatively speaking--my body today is completely pansy-assed compared to what I used to be able to do). I'm probably going to pay for it tomorrow, but whatever. It felt good.
Even though I'm a contact person for the Kite Runner tickets (showing tonight), I've decided to not go. I looked at my planner and this is my last opportunity for a free evening until November 25. I'm taking it.
...Holy cow, my lower trapezius are not happy with me.

I can see their point, kinda, but I don't see how it's any different than breeding Daschunds.
And that cat is fucking adorable.

But on the other hand, yeah, it's really fucking cute.

However, many breeds of dog are specifically bred for all sorts of physical characteristics that have nothing to do with function, which most certainly are detrimental to them physically (pushfaced dogs, for example).
However, I don't know that this particular kitten was bred to have short legs, as there is another kitten with it that seems to be normally sized. I just thought it was the runt of the litter.

but sure enuf.... kewt.
och! that is a disturbing amount of cute.
It sounds kind of wimpy written out...
Drill new movements (oblique-driven shimmy and extreme rib isolation) for ~10 minutes
Combination of push-up variant with sit-ups (25 push-ups, 25 sit-ups, repeated three times for a total of 75 each)
15 repetitions of locust pose, held for a count of 5
100 Straddle-stance squats
15 minute cool-down that incorporated straddle-sit glute squeezes and a lot of active stretching
Re: It sounds kind of wimpy written out...
that workout would make me walk funny for a day or so.-
Re: It sounds kind of wimpy written out...
Oh, my PT guy nixed the push-ups for now. We're working on getting the muscles to relax and not think they're being re-traumatized. Which is very hard for me. Basically I'm to stretch, but only to 50% of what I think I can do, and for limited amounts of time. He called it "guiding the muscles to where they're supposed to be rather than pushing them into stretch."
.. and he had to stop me three times because I was pushing myself too far.
This is going to be a long process by my standards of stretch.

That sucks massive amounts of suckage. =(

Yep. You *know* how hard it is for this former dancer to not stretch to maximum. It feels too weird. He tells me "only move until you start to feel the stretch", .. so I do, and then he tells me "no that's too much"
ARGH!

I feed my dwarf hamsters using large bottle caps for food bowls because otherwise they climb in regular bowls and use them for litter boxes.

The food-bowl scene kills me. As do the scenes with the hammie and the cat, in general.
