everflame and I had a wonderful conversation, but it resulted in us both losing substantial productivity. In a late-in-the-day email, I posited that we weren't arguing, we were just clarifying our stances. We then had this exchange:
Me: Neither of us like the term. You say usage of the term is inevitable in our current climate. I say that's dumb.
Her: It makes me a little sick realizing all that typing could have been boiled down to this perfectly accurate summation. I could have been doing actual work.
