Hump day
Ok, in 45 minutes, I will be halfway through my work week. Hallelujah.
So who all rushed out to buy Pirates of the Carribbean on Tuesday? I'm holding out for the hope that it might show up under the tree for us. We found out who's buying whose presents for 0's family. Since his family is so large and most of the children are adults now, we've started divvying up the gift-giving. A real life-saver, IMO. I've asked for either a new pair of wool socks or this wall calendar. I got 0's mom as my recipient--hm. Wonder if that one was fixed? I forget who drew 0's name. I should probably find out and drop a few hints so we don't end up with something like the Coors Light Silver Bullet sign that showed up a couple years ago.
Oh, a reminder before I forget: dancers at Aladdin Café tomorrow night, Thursday the 4th. Get there early if you want a table.
In my Monday post, I neglected to mention what a blast it was dancing with radcliffe and roya_spirit at the Sellout show. I think radcliff has to be one of the sexiest dancers I've ever seen. If she really puts her mind to it, she will go far far far with the bellydancing stuff. Her whole body just gets into it--even her hair. She's just so incredibly, well, yummy.
I'm nearly halfway through a scarf for whom I do not yet have an intended recipient. It's lovely, but earthtoned. I used leftover tassel yarn and that's what I had on hand. Of course I realize now that most of my friends prefer jewel tones. Sigh.
And yippee, I've been interruped enough times during this post that I can go eat lunch without feeling like I'm eating too early. Snarf!
