Oh god

One of our former grad students lost her husband, a U.N. peacekeeper, in last night's bombing in Algiers.

A moment, please.

She's flying out to Senegal soon.

Yes, if she's from Senegal, it must be the same woman. She's a beautiful, wonderful person. My heart is breaking for her and their daughter.

From what I remember, she was here finishing up a degree in English, so it is most likely the same woman. The little girls (two daughters) used to come in here to play with us before they moved.
